How to play
Click or tap a card to flip it. Flip two cards per turn. If they match, they stay face up. If not, they turn back over. Find all pairs in as few turns as possible. Standard mode has 8 pairs; Quick has 6; Expert has 10.

A memory game with useful pairs
Turn over two cards at a time and find each name’s matching meaning. Matching cards stay visible; non-matching cards turn back after a short pause. Quick, standard and expert modes adjust the number of pairs, letting you choose a brief warm-up or a longer memory challenge.
Completion time and turn count are shown at the end, and a personal best can be stored locally on this browser. The cards use the same reviewed local data as the reference pages. No contact information, account data or public score is created when you play.
Card fronts use both names and written meanings, so matching depends on recall rather than color or position alone. During a mismatch the board briefly pauses additional selections, preventing accidental extra turns. Matched pairs remain visible until the round is complete.
You can restart at any time or change the pair count before a new board. The best-result value is checked for a sensible turn count and elapsed time before display; invalid or unavailable browser storage simply means the game continues without a remembered record.
Privacy and accessibility
The puzzle runs in your browser. Keyboard players can move through controls with Tab and activate tiles with Enter or Space. Results are announced in the status area, and reduced-motion settings are respected. Game progress may be stored locally, as described on the Cookies & Local Storage page.
